Bombing at Moscow's Balzi Rossi Restaurant: 3 Killed, 21 Injured
A bomb explosion at the Balzi Rossi restaurant in central Moscow killed at least five people and injured 21 others. Three deaths have been confirmed: a woman who had attempted to bring an explosive into the restaurant, a security guard who had stopped her, and a customer. The restaurant had been reserved for a private event. Moscow's Mayor Sergej Sobjanin called the attack a 'brutal act of terrorism' and promised that those responsible would be found and punished. According to unconfirmed reports, a high-ranking military officer may have been among the guests.
