Russia: Moscow claims it destroyed 180 Ukrainian drones in twelve hours
The Russian Ministry of Defence claims to have intercepted and destroyed 180 Ukrainian drones on August 15, 2026, between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m., according to Le Monde. These interceptions were reported over ten Russian territories, Crimea, and the Black Sea. This announcement follows a night when Russia attacked Ukraine with over 150 drones. Since early this month, Ukraine has also targeted 11 of 34 major Russian refineries.
