Bellelay: three motorcyclists injured in chain collision

A group of five motorcyclists was traveling from Bellelay toward Le Fuet. In a right-hand curve, the lead motorcyclist lost control of his motorcycle and swerved into the opposite lane.

His motorcycle underwent a lateral collision with a car coming from Le Fuet. The motorcyclist fell, and his motorcycle slid across the roadway.

The second motorcyclist hit the motorcycle lying on the road before falling. The third then collided with the second motorcycle and fell in turn.

Three motorcyclists transported to hospital

The first motorcyclist was seriously injured. The second sustained injuries of unspecified severity, while the third was lightly injured.

A rescue helicopter transported the seriously injured victim to hospital. Two ambulance crews treated the two other victims and also transported them to hospital.
