Geneva-Cornavin: Person on tracks disrupts 10 railway lines
A person on the railway tracks interrupted train traffic at Geneva-Cornavin station on August 6, 2026. Ten CFF (Swiss Federal Railways) lines were affected: IC1, IR15, IR90, RE33, RL1, RL2, RL3, RL4, RL5, and RL6. Geneva cantonal police indicated the person's life is not in danger and forecasted track reopening at 3 p.m. The CFF warned disruptions would continue until at least 3:30 p.m., with possible additional delays and cancellations after service resumes.
