The affected area extends from the Erzgebirge to Upper Lusatia (Oberlausitz). Gusts may reach 65 km/h. Rainfall from thunderstorms can locally accumulate to 60 liters per square meter within six hours. Sustained rain of 20 to 35 l/m², independent of thunderstorms, is also possible.
