Saxony: BSW proposes AI platform to guide patients
The BSW—the Sahra Wagenknecht Alliance, a populist political party founded January 8, 2024—announced on July 24, 2026 at the Saxony Landtag that it will introduce an artificial intelligence platform to improve patient guidance in the region's healthcare system. The proposal forms part of a broader digital health strategy for Saxony and addresses three structural problems: vacant general practitioner posts, lengthy appointment waiting times, and overburdened emergency departments.
