Ukraine launches massive drone attack on Moscow region, killing at least six and setting warehouse ablaze
Ukraine carried out one of its largest drone attacks on Russia since the start of the war on August 16, 2026, according to The Guardian. At least six people were killed, Moscow authorities said. The attack also sparked a fire at a Wildberries warehouse in Koledino, in the Moscow region. Wildberries, a Russian e-commerce company co-founded in 2004, confirmed the fire. Black smoke was seen rising over the region following the attack.
