Daimler Truck: net profit down 48% in Q2 2026 despite revenue growth
In the second quarter of 2026, German heavy-truck manufacturer Daimler Truck recorded a net profit of €128 million, down 48% from the same quarter in 2025 (€245 million). Revenue, however, rose 5% to approximately €12.3 billion, and vehicle sales increased 8% to 86,707 units. Tariffs continued to weigh on profitability. CEO Karin Rådström announced raised full-year guidance, betting on improved performance in the second half of the year.
