Eight Family Members Found Dead in House Fire in Grand Haven Township, Michigan
Eight family members—two adults and six children ages 5 to 15—were found dead on July 24, 2026, inside a burning house on Riverside Trail in Grand Haven Township, Michigan, approximately 20 miles south of Muskegon. Some of the victims had gunshot wounds, according to Captain Jacob Sparks of the Grand Haven Fire Department. Authorities say they are not seeking suspects outside the household, but the investigation remains open. Autopsies are scheduled for July 26–27, 2026.
