Granada Shaken by Magnitude 5 Earthquake, No Casualties
A rare magnitude 5 earthquake shook Granada shortly after 1 a.m., with no reported casualties, according to information published by Le Monde. The epicenter was located in Alhendín, approximately 10 kilometers south of the city. On the same day, a magnitude 7.7 earthquake killed 20 people off the coast of Flores in eastern Indonesia.
