Australian golfer Jessica Bang dies at 18 after brain haemorrhage
Australian golfer Jessica Bang has died at the age of 18 following a brain haemorrhage, the BBC reports. She collapsed on 1 August in Thailand while preparing for a tournament. Taken to hospital in Bangkok, she underwent emergency brain surgery and remained in intensive care for almost two weeks. Turning professional at the end of 2025, she had won her first professional event earlier in 2026.
