Le Monde reports Ratko Mladic has died in The Hague and will receive a state funeral
Le Monde reports that Ratko Mladic died Thursday in The Hague, where he was serving a life sentence. The former Bosnian Serb military commander and general had been convicted of genocide, war crimes and crimes against humanity. Known as the “Butcher of the Balkans,” he will receive a state funeral.
