German military prepares five sites for soldier training
Germany’s armed forces plan preparatory measures at five sites across the country to create capacity for training soldiers, according to Die Zeit. The project includes the former Graf-Stauffenberg barracks in Sigmaringen and its former military training ground. Sigmaringen is located in the Zollernalb district of Baden-Württemberg. The ministry in Berlin stressed that the preparations do not yet amount to a decision to station troops in Sigmaringen.
