Emma Finucane wins record four track cycling titles at Glasgow 2026
Emma Finucane won four track cycling gold medals at the 2026 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, setting a record for a single edition. The 23-year-old Welsh rider claimed the team sprint with Rhian Edmunds and Lowri Thomas before winning the individual sprint, 1,000-metre time trial and keirin. She is now the most successful Welsh woman in Commonwealth Games history. Finucane has six medals from two appearances, while Welsh cycling ended the Glasgow Games with a record haul of 11 medals: six gold, three silver and two bronze.
