Tour de France Femmes 2026 opens with a Lausanne loop stage
The first stage of the 2026 Tour de France Femmes took place on August 1, 2026, on a Swiss loop starting and finishing in Lausanne, between Lake Neuchâtel and Lake Geneva. Lorena Wiebes (SD Worx-Protime) won the stage and wears the first yellow jersey. The Dutch sprinter triumphed on the Côte de Saint-François, a climb steeper than announced, fending off attacks from the FDJ team.
