FC Bayern Munich began their pre-season with a 1-2 (0-1) defeat to SV Wehen Wiesbaden, a third-division German club, on July 25, 2026 in Wiesbaden. Head coach Vincent Kompany fielded almost exclusively young players, as Bayern's World Cup-bound internationals were absent.
