VW: Works council summons CEO Oliver Blume before employees in late August
Volkswagen's works council will organize staff assemblies at all major company sites in late August as part of a dispute over new cost-cutting measures. CEO Oliver Blume is expected to appear before employees at Wolfsburg, Emden, and Zwickau to explain the measures. The announcement comes from an internal communication published on the Volkswagen intranet, which was reviewed by German press agency dpa.
