European Swimming Championships in Paris: Two British golds in diving and artistic swimming
On 2 August 2026, at the European Swimming Championships in Paris, Great Britain claimed two gold medals. Maisie Bond and Lois Toulson won gold in women's synchronized diving from the 10 m platform with 300.06 points, ahead of Germany (298.20) and Ukraine (286.20). Isabelle Thorpe and Ranjuo Tomblin secured Britain's first European gold in mixed duet artistic swimming with 258.2383 points, narrowly defeating Spain by just 0.2650 points. In the men's 1 m springboard final, German diver Moritz Linus Wesemann took gold (431.45 points), ahead of Britons Jack Laugher (silver, 418.25) and Jordan Houlden (bronze, 410.30).
