Saint Paul Mayor Kaohly Her, a Democrat, is the subject of an independent investigation into alleged sexual harassment following a complaint by the city’s police chief, The Guardian reports. City leaders have appointed an outside law firm to investigate. Her is accused of sending inappropriate messages to municipal employees, including several members of the Saint Paul Police Department. Elected in November, she is the first woman to serve as mayor of Saint Paul, Minnesota.
