Yung Filly acquitted of rape in Perth, convicted of assault
On 31 July 2026, a Perth District Court jury acquitted British YouTuber and rapper Andres Barrientos, known as Yung Filly (30), of three counts of sexual penetration without consent. However, he was found guilty of two counts of assault for biting the victim. The jury failed to reach a unanimous verdict on three additional rape charges, leaving the possibility of a retrial to the discretion of the Western Australia Director of Public Prosecutions. Barrientos must appear next month for sentencing on the assault convictions.
