Russia Claims to Have Intercepted 502 Drones in Single Night; 2 Dead in Krasnodar
The Russian Defense Ministry claims to have intercepted 502 Ukrainian drones during the night of August 11–12, 2026, across seven Russian oblasts, Crimea, and the Black Sea. In the Krasnodar region, strikes resulted in 2 deaths and 12 injuries according to the local governor. The previous night, Moscow announced the destruction of 456 drones, and 13 people died in Nizhnekamsk (Tatarstan) following a Ukrainian strike. On August 11, South Korea officially refused to supply air defense systems to Kyiv.
