Cameroon wins first Women's Africa Cup of Nations title after 3-0 victory over Malawi
Cameroon won its first Women's Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) title by defeating Malawi 3-0 in the final in Rabat. Marie Ngah Manga scored twice, while Naomi Eto added a goal and an assist. Cameroon, which had lost three previous finals, becomes the fourth nation to win the tournament. The victories of both finalists secure their places at the 2027 Women's World Cup in Brazil.
