Iran: 26 countries condemn executions of protesters
Twenty-six countries, including France, the United Kingdom and Canada, condemned the executions of protesters in Iran on August 12, 2026. According to Le Monde, the Iranian authorities have acknowledged more than 3,000 deaths. They attributed the violence to “terrorist acts” orchestrated by the United States and Israel.
