Venezuelans Sue CSI Aviation and GlobalX Over Deportation Flights
Venezuelan nationals filed a lawsuit on July 17, 2026 against CSI Aviation and GlobalX in federal court in Washington DC. The companies are accused of transporting deportees to El Salvador in violation of a federal court order and knowing they would likely be tortured in the CECOT, a Salvadoran maximum-security prison. The facts date back to March 2025, when the Trump administration deported 252 Venezuelan and Salvadoran men. The administration never proved these men belonged to the Tren de Aragua gang.
