France and Saudi Arabia plan three theme parks near Paris
France and Saudi Arabia signed a memorandum of understanding on August 24, 2026, to develop three theme parks in Cergy-Pontoise near Paris. Riyadh plans to invest €6 billion, with the project expected to create 22,000 direct jobs. One park could focus on manga, potentially Dragon Ball, and occupy the former Mirapolis site in Val-d’Oise. The themes of the other two parks have not been disclosed. Construction is expected to span several years, but no precise schedule or opening dates have been announced.
