Hamburg's Sommerdom — also known as Hamburger Dom, northern Germany's largest traveling fair and annual summer festival — opens its gates on the afternoon of July 24, 2026. The 2026 edition introduces an unprecedented attraction for festivalgoers: the 'Hypnotizer' swing ride, making its debut this year, which reaches a thrilling height of 30 meters. According to Die Zeit, the previous 2025 edition attracted more than 1.3 million visitors, making it one of the region's most popular events.
