Lippstadt e-scooter fugitive arrested with illegal firecracker and another's bank card
On July 21, 2026, in Lippstadt, Germany, a 40-year-old man attempted to evade a police control by fleeing on an e-scooter before jumping off the vehicle to continue on foot. The attempt failed: officers quickly apprehended him. According to a report from the Deutsche Presse-Agentur (German Press Agency), the suspect was under the influence of drugs at the time.
