The charred body of Luigi Esposito, known as "Luca," a 53-year-old sports journalist, was discovered on July 19, 2026 in Eboli, south of Naples. According to Salerno prosecutor Raffaele Cantone, the victim was shot before his body was burned. The investigation points toward homicide.
