Man dies after being found unresponsive in the water at Geneva’s Bains des Pâquis
A man died on Tuesday afternoon after being found unresponsive in the water at the Bains des Pâquis public bathing area in Geneva. Emergency responders treated him at the scene but were unable to revive him. Cantonal police said the man, who was born in 1972, was discovered at around 3:30 p.m. in the swimming area. Initial information suggests that he suffered a medical emergency while in the water, although this has not been confirmed. Access to the Bains des Pâquis was closed following the incident.
