Daniel Kinahan Extradited to Ireland and Held in Provisional Detention
Daniel Kinahan, 49, was extradited on Sunday from the United Arab Emirates to Ireland and charged with organized crime leadership. Held in provisional detention at Portlaoise high-security prison, he must remain there at least until his trial in October. He will appear again on October 5 before a non-jury court. Presented as the presumed leader of an organized crime group, he has not been convicted of any crime and remains legally innocent.
