Brandenburg reports more frequent sightings of pine processionary moths
Pine processionary moths are being observed increasingly often in Brandenburg, Die Zeit reports. A lesser-known relative of the oak processionary moth, the species also poses problems because of its toxic hairs. Its development occurs later in the year than that of the better-known processionary moth found on oak trees.
