Boltigen (Bern): Six injured, one seriously, in head-on crash
Six people were injured in a head-on collision between two cars shortly after 7 p.m. on Friday on Bäuertweidli road in Boltigen, canton of Bern. A driver crossed into the oncoming lane on a right-hand bend for reasons that remain unknown. The other car rolled several times down an embankment and came to rest on its roof. Its five occupants suffered minor injuries. Firefighters freed the seriously injured driver from her car before Rega flew her to hospital. The road was closed for about four hours, and Bern cantonal police have opened an investigation.
