Two wildfires affected Angola and Bolivia between August 26 and 31, 2026, with a low humanitarian impact expected. In Angola, the fire lasted from August 26 through August 30. In Bolivia, the fire began on August 27 and continued through August 31. For each event, the assessment considers the area burned, the affected population and that population’s vulnerability.
