Billings shooting leaves several adults and children dead in burned home
Several people, including children, were killed Sunday evening in a home later destroyed by fire in Billings, Montana. Police described the case as a family conflict. As of Tuesday morning, authorities had not disclosed the exact death toll or the victims’ names and ages. Yellowstone County Sheriff Kent O’Donnell said all those targeted had died. The suspect was found outside with an apparently self-inflicted gunshot wound and later died at a hospital. Fire and water damage are expected to slow the investigation, and authorities plan to provide another update Wednesday.
