Three truck drivers injured in A44 crash near Diemelstadt as motorway reopens
Three truck drivers were injured in a crash involving several lorries on the A44 motorway near Diemelstadt, in the Waldeck-Frankenberg district of Hesse, Germany. The injured drivers were taken to a clinic, according to Die Zeit. The motorway towards Dortmund was closed for several hours from Thursday, August 13, 2026. Police said the affected section reopened at around midnight.
